The Maelis coils three open lines around the finger, rising to an oval diamond at the top. At 1.5 carats the elongated stone sits bright above the spiralling bands, the open coils giving the ring a light, sculptural feel. It's a modern reinterpretation of the solitaire — the wrapping construction lending movement and architectural interest where a plain shank would sit still. Clean, distinctive and easy to wear, it reads as quietly original on the finger. Worn alone it's elegant and current; stacked, it adds a coiled note.
