It starts with whatever you bring us — even if that's just an idea
You don't need a finished concept to start a custom order with us. Some clients arrive with a photo of a piece they want recreated. Some bring a rough sketch. Some have nothing more than a feeling for what they want and need help putting it into a visual form. In every case, our team works with you directly — sketching the idea out from scratch, sourcing reference images, or refining the photo you've brought in — until there's a clear, shared starting point. Seeing it before it exists: the CAD stage
Once we have alignment on the concept, we build a CAD (computer-aided design) file — a full 3D model of your piece. This is the stage that removes most of the uncertainty people associate with custom jewellery: you can view the design from every angle, see the true scale of the stones relative to the setting, and get a real sense of the finished piece before anything is made. It's also where every remaining decision gets locked in — diamond size, setting type, metal colour, and any other detail you want to adjust.
We don't ask for payment until you're genuinely happy with the CAD file. Once you approve it, we take a 50% deposit and begin sourcing the diamonds or gemstones and preparing the metal.
How long it actually takes
Timelines depend entirely on complexity:
Simple, standard designs — solitaire rings, stud earrings, and similar pieces using readily available diamonds — can be finished within 7 days of manufacturing once the CAD is approved.
Complex pieces — bridal sets, multi-stone necklaces — typically take up to 30 days.
Rare or large stones add sourcing time on top of manufacturing, since we need to locate or grow the right diamond or gemstone before work can begin.
Our most ambitious bespoke commissions — the kind built around a stone that doesn't exist yet — can run two to three months from first idea to finished piece.
Because of this, we always recommend starting the conversation well before you need the finished piece, especially for anything with an unusual stone shape, size, or colour.
What happens in the workshop
Depending on the design, a piece is either cast or built entirely by hand — but regardless of which, every finishing step is done by hand: polishing, stone setting, and final detailing. This is the same in-house Sharjah manufacturing process behind every Evermore piece. Every custom piece goes through a seven-step quality control process before it reaches you:

Stone sourcing and verification — confirming the diamond or gemstone meets the agreed specification before it ever reaches the workshop.

Mounting construction — building the setting itself, cast or handmade depending on the design.

Mounting polish — a first full polish of the setting before any stone is set.

Stone setting — placing and securing each diamond or gemstone by hand.

Final polish — a second, final polish of the entire piece after setting.

Colour and gradient check — verifying every stone matches the agreed colour and quality across the piece.

Rhodium dip and final inspection — the finishing plating step, followed by a last full check before the piece is approved for delivery.
